For bars, clubs, music rooms, terraces — and the people who drive to them
Your listing is already here. Make it yours.
Nightlife Compass is a directory of nightlife businesses in ten cities, kept honest by members who go out. Claiming your listing is free: you set hours, cover, dress and photos, and answer the questions people ask before they choose where to go tonight.
How it works
Three things a business can do here
01Claim the listingProve you speak for the place — an email from your domain, a call to your published number, a licence. A person verifies it; the listing gets a “claimed” mark and you get the controls. Free, always.
02Keep it trueHours, cover, dress, photos, what’s on this week. Members’ tips stay visible next to yours; when they disagree, both are shown with dates. That’s what makes people trust the page — and come.
03Optionally, sell an eveningIn Tijuana only, for now: hosted food walks, tastings, admission with stated inclusions, scheduled rides, rooms. Reviewed like everything else, commission on completed bookings, never required to be listed.
Who this is for
Any lawful nightlife business
Bars, cantinas, cocktail and beer rooms — the bulk of the directory.
Clubs and live venues — publish the line-up and the door policy yourself.
Rooftops, terraces, late kitchens — the first and last stops of a night.
Adult entertainment venues (18+) — listed neutrally after verification of lawful operation; admission only, nothing else.
Drivers, guides, hotels — for Tijuana’s arranged nights.
The rules
What ends a listing
Offering, arranging or hinting at sexual services — including “companionship”, “special packages” or provider selection. Removed, not reconsidered.
Deleting or burying members’ honest reports. You can answer them; you can’t make them disappear.
Vague “VIP” promises without a named benefit, invented reviews, or prices that aren’t the prices.
